After years of working as a freelance engineer in a variety of studios and spaces, producer/engineer/mixer Clyde Rosencrance decided to establish a permanent location to host his productions. Republic Audio Studio features a multitude of the best new & vintage equipment to artfully craft your next project.
Clyde has over 15 years of experience working with projects of all different types. As a freelance engineer he has worked in large format studios, as well as many unique, “found” spaces, giving him the expertise to capture your unique sound regardless of variables.
Prior to opening Republic Audio, Clyde spent more than 15 years writing & performing in several successful bands including The Magdalyns, OurAfter, & The Collective. During that time Clyde performed for thousands on stages of all sizes from Vermont through Key West, and from Houston through Chicago. This real-world experience along with years of studio time brings a level of understanding to the table that many engineers & producers can only aspire to.
With Republic Audio as his home-base, he has designed the studio to accommodate an efficient workflow, while providing a comfortable, no-pressure atmosphere. The studio holds a vast array or new & old goodies to provide undeniable inspiration for artists.
